Overview

The information below is for those players who want to try out for a TRAVEL team in the Fall of 2026 for players who will be in Grades 3-6 in the Fall of 2026/Spring 2027 Season.

All players who want to be considered for a travel team should attend BOTH tryouts for their grade group. ABYS uses an online registration process for all players planning to attend try outs.  All players interested in attending try outs for the ABYS Travel Teams must register ahead of the try-outs on abys.org.

Tryouts will consist of a series of small-sided games where professional evaluators will be assessing each player. The travel team selection process will also include coach's evaluations.

If you have a question about what divisional try out your child should attend, please contact the ABYS Registrar or the Division Director for correct placement.

All tryouts will be held at Flerra Meadow Fields in Boxborough.  All players should arrive with plenty of water and be ready to play wearing a white/light colored shirt, cleats and shin guards.  Players DO NOT need to bring a soccer ball to tryouts.  Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in and receive instructions.

PLEASE NOTE Age groups should follow the schedule for the grade that your child will enter in Fall 2026.
