ABYS Uniform Information

Soccer Stuff is the authorized uniform provider for ABYS

Soccer Stuff is located at the Donelan’s Plaza, 264 Great Road (Rte. 2A) Acton, MA, (978) 635-1259, www.esoccerstuff.com.  They carry a complete selection of soccer shorts, socks, shin guards, cleats, balls, and other soccer equipment and apparel.

Pre-K & Kinders

·        ABYS will provide a T-shirt each season at the first session

·        Players should wear soccer or athletic type shorts

·        Cleats and shin guards (under their socks) are recommended

·        Pre-K & Kinders use a size 3 ball

U7 and U8 (1^st and 2^nd grades)

·        ABYS will provide different colored T-shirts by team each season

·        PLAYERS MUST NOTE THEIR REQUESTED SHIRT SIZE WHEN REGISTERING EACH SEASON

·        Sample sizes will be available for fitment at Soccer Stuff during the registration period

·        Each team’s coach will distribute the shirts at the first practice

·        Players should wear soccer or athletic type shorts.

·        Cleats are recommended and shin guards (under soccer socks) are required

·        U7’s and U8’s use a size 3 ball

U9 through U18

·        Both in-town and travel (BAYS) leagues will use the same uniform kit:

Adidas Regista white (home) and royal (away) jerseys, Adidas Equipo short (men’s and women’s cuts), and Adidas 3-stripe royal sock

·        ALL PLAYERS MUST NOTE THEIR REQUESTED SIZES FOR JERSEYS, SHORTS AND SOCKS WHEN REGISTERING FOR THE FALL 2010 SEASON.  ANY SIZE CHANGES WILL REQUIRE THE PURCHASE OF REPLACEMENT PIECES.  In subsequent seasons, if you do not need a new uniform, you should leave all sizing sections blank.  If you need a particular replacement uniform piece, you must indicate the size in the appropriate section and that piece will be ordered for you. 

·        Sample sizes will be available for fitment at Soccer Stuff during the registration period.

·        Travel players (only) will have uniform numbers assigned by ABYS and pre-printed on the uniform.

·        ALL TRAVEL PLAYERS MUST NOTE THEIR EXISTING UNIFORM NUMBER ON THEIR REGISTRATION EACH SEASON, EVEN IF YOU DO NOT NEED A NEW JERSEY.  This is not your requested or desired number, but the actual number you have currently been assigned.  ANY NUMBER CONFLICTS MAY RESULT IN ABYS ASSIGNING A NEW NUMBER.  If you have not yet been assigned a number please leave this field blank or N/A on your registration.

·        Soccer Stuff will maintain a small inventory of unprinted items in common sizes for emergencies.  If printing is required, a $5.00 special uniform order fee may apply.  The primary method for getting new uniform pieces is through the registration process.

·        If you do not get registered during the registration period you will be subject to a late registration fee as well as an additional $5.00 special order uniform fee.

·        Cleats and shin guards are required

·        U9 3^rd thru U12 6^th grade use a size 4 ball

·        U13 7^th Grade & Up use a size 5 ball

Junior High and High School Players

·        If you are unsure if you will be playing school soccer or ABYS during the Fall season you should still register if both of the following apply:

1.      You will play ABYS if you do not play school soccer in the Fall

2.      You will play ABYS in either case in the Spring

If you opt to play school soccer in the Fall your ABYS Fall registration fee will be refunded.  Your uniform will be ordered and printed and available to you for the Fall or the Spring season.

Please note:  A 50% new uniform rebate is available for the Fall 2010 season to the following age levels: U10, U14, and U18.  This is to help compensate those players who were either required to purchase a new kit last year or will only be able to use the new kit for one year.  Please make arrangements to return your old uniform to Sue Reuther to get your rebate.
